Tweet to the Patriots!

It’s the 4th of July this weekend, a time when we grill out, go to parties, ride carnival rides until we’re sick, and stay up til midnight to watch a rather disappointing fireworks show. In honour (oops, sorry scratch that, HONOR) of our founding fathers, I have compiled some of the best, most inspirational tweets from those who shaped the Revolution and America. Enjoy!

No matter where you come from or where you’re heading, those who helped shaped this country have affected us all. I am proud to be an American, from a land where people can be free to be who they want. A land built on open arms and open-mindedness, a place for acceptance no matter how different someone else may be. Sure, we’ve had our struggles and our downfalls, but the biggest thing is we get back up and hold strong as a nation.

Everyone please have a wonderful, safe, and tweet-tastic 4th of July. Thank a soldier or a veteran today, for they have helped to keep freedom strong and ringing.
