With the upcoming Solar Eclipse one local artist painted her vision for this event coming to Southern Illinois. We have worked together to help promote Nichole Pate and raise money for a local charity, HONOR WREATHS FOR VETERANS.
Honor Wreaths provides wreaths for our Veterans Grave Sites at Mounds City National Cemetery. Half of the money raised will go towards purchasing wreaths to place as many wreaths as we can on their final resting place. If you prefer to just make a donation to Honor Wreath, you can do so HERE.
ABOUT THE PAINTING
“I use an acrylic pour technique to get the sun’s corona. With my visual impairment it is difficult for me to try and be precise. So I pour. It helps me relax. I still don’t consider myself an artist. I’m just someone that likes to play with paint.” – Nichole Pate
