This is my second year to go around Southern Illinois and spread Christmas Cheer. Last year we raised money and bikes for 2 local charities: Gumdrops and The Southern Illinois Bike Giveaway at the Williamson County Pavillion. Altogether, we raised around $800. My goal is to spread some Christmas Cheer throughout Murphysboro, Carbondale, Carterville, Herrin, Marion, and Harrisburg. This year, I want to raise money for our local Team RWB Marion chapter. We use the money to help Veterans stay active in the community. This is through physical fitness and social events. Our local chapter has been getting involved with various local organizations (Rotary, Chambers of Commerce, SIU, etc…) to volunteer and promote that Veterans have more to offer the community.
